This program is implementing by GRAVIS with the support of CBCI-CARD as PR partner and funded by The Union (The Global Fund Round 9 ) “A civil society Initiative to Strengthen TB Care and control in India. The Aim of this program is to improve access to quality TB Care and Control especially for women, Children, marginalized, vulnerable TB infected population. Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization is a major focus of this program.
⦁ AxshaySamvad- In this activity we have conducted door-to-door survey in which we need to identify the target population, if any person is identify we have to refer him/her to DH for sputum test.
⦁ GSK Meeting– This meeting has been conducted with PRI, VHSC, SHG’s and General community to make them aware for this issue and to involve them to be a part of this program for spreading the message in all over community for Care and Control from TB.
⦁ Mid-Media activities– These activities have been conducted to raise community awareness in focused areas on TB and RNTCP through different campaigns. Street plays, puppet shows, slide shows, wall paintings and other entertainment cum education events are used to enhance awareness and knowledge on TB symptoms, referrals and treatment.
